Who you are dealing with

Plate Components is a trading name of Paramount Plates Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16366988, whose registered office is at 42 Moorside, Spennymoor, DL16 7EA, United Kingdom.

In this document, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Paramount Plates Ltd, and “you” means the person using this website.

What this site is

A pre-launch page. It describes what Plate Components intends to supply and lets you ask to be told when it opens. Nothing on it is an offer to sell, a quotation, or a commitment to stock any particular product.

We may change what we intend to supply, or not open at all. If that happens the only thing you have given us is an email address, and you can have it deleted.

The waiting list

Joining the list costs nothing, obliges you to nothing, and gives you no priority, allocation, or price. It means we have your address and permission to use it once.

Give us an address you are entitled to use. Do not sign anyone else up.

We may remove an address from the list at any time, and we will remove one the moment you ask.

Accuracy

We have written this site carefully, but it describes a business that has not opened. Product categories, specifications and availability are what we currently intend and are not promises.

Nothing here is technical advice. A number plate supplied for road use in Great Britain has to meet BS AU 145e and the registration requirements that go with it, and that responsibility sits with the registered supplier who makes the plate — not with a components supplier and not with this page.

Our content

The text, artwork, logos and design of this site belong to us. You may read it, print it and share a link to it. You may not copy it into your own site or materials without asking.

“Plate Components” and “Plate Software” are our trading names.

Liability

We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to exclude.

Beyond that, and because this site sells nothing and costs you nothing, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of it or from your reliance on anything it says about a business that has not opened.

If you are a consumer, none of this affects your statutory rights.

Changes, and which law applies

We may update these terms. The version in force is the one on this page, with the version number and date shown at the top.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your own courts.
